En conclusión, hemos comprobado que ambos métodos pueden ser un recurso sencillo para planificar la prevención en entornos laborales con riesgo químico. El método basado en el INRS contempla más determinantes del riesgo que el COSHH Essentials, pero las características dispares de ambos métodos deben determinar la mejor elección para cada situación; o incluso, como sugieren nuestros resultados, su utilización complementaria. ASSESSING USERS’ PERCEPTIONS OF FOUR TYPES OF ROAD SAFETY MEASURES

Road crashes remain an important public health issue. This study aimed to assess the perceived importance of four types of measures for reducing traffic crash rates. For this cross-sectional study, data were obtained from a national sample of 1,200 Spanish drivers responding to a telephone-assisted survey. The most valued types of road safety measures were those related to users’ training/education and infrastructural improvements. Further, individual perceptions were influenced by both demographic and trip-related factors. The results of this study support the idea that user features remain a relevant issue to consider when developing and implementing road safety measures.

Introducción: las conjuntivitis epidémicas presentan alto riesgo de contagio. Pueden tener etiología laboral. Objetivos: conocer datos epidemiológicos y cuantificar costes económicos; aportar información sobre manejo y catalogación. Material / Métodos: estudio descriptivo-retrospectivo de una serie de casos (contingencias profesionales) por conjuntivitis epidémica (CIE-9) durante 2014-2015 en FREMAP, que generaron procesos de incapacidad temporal. Resultados: sobre el total de patologías oftalmológicas laborales con baja, representaron el 1,6%. Mujeres 75%, sector servicios y 39 años de media. Bilateral 73% de los casos.
